When first the sun whom all my senses serveB
Began to shine upon this earthly roundC
The heavens for her all graces did reserveB
That Pandor like with all she might aboundC
Apollo placed his brightness in her eyesD
His skill presaging and his music sweetE
Mars gave his force all force she now defiesD
Venus her smiles wherewith she Mars did meetE
Python a voice Diana made her chasteF
Ceres gave plenty Cupid lent his bowG
Thetis his feet there Pallas wisdom placedF
With these she queen like kept a world in aweH
Yet all these honors deem d are but pelfB
For she is much more worthy of herselfB
