Licia Sonnets 45 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGG

There shone a comet and it was full westA
My thoughts presag d what it did portendB
I found it threatened to my heart unrestA
And might in time my joys and comfort endB
I further sought and found it was a sunC
Which day nor night did never use to setD
It constant stood when heavens did restless runC
And did their Virtues and their forces letD
The world did muse and wonder what it meantE
A sun to shine and in the west to riseF
To search the truth I strength and spirits spentE
At length I found it was my Licia's eyesF
Now never after soul shall live in darkG
That hath the hap this western sun to markG
