Licia Sonnets 41 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGG

If aged Charon when my life shall endA
I pass thy ferry and my waftage payB
Thy oars shall fall thy boat and mast shall rendA
And through the deep shall be a dry foot wayB
For why My heart with sighs doth breathe such flameC
That air and water both incens d beD
The boundless ocean from whose mouth they cameC
For from my heat not heaven itself is freeD
Then since to me thy loss can be no gainE
Avoid thy harm and fly what I foretellF
Make thou thy love with me for to be slainE
That I with her and both with thee may dwellF
Thy fact thus Charon both of us shall blessG
Thou save thy boat and I my love possessG
