Licia Sonnets 31 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFGFHD

Whenas her lute is tun d to her voiceA
The air grows proud for honour of that soundB
And rocks do leap to show how they rejoiceA
That in the earth such music should be foundB
Whenas her hair more worth more pale than goldC
Like silver thread lies waiting in the airD
Diana like she looks but yet more boldC
Cruel in chase more chaste and yet more fairD
Whenas she smiles the clouds for envy breaksE
She Jove in pride encounters with a checkF
The sun doth shine for joy whenas she speaksG
Thus heaven and earth do homage at her beckF
Yet all these graces blots not graces areH
If you my love of love do take no careD
