Licia Sonnets 06 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEFEGHIIJJMy love amazed did blush herself to see | A |
Pictured by art all naked as she was | B |
How could the painter know so much by me | A |
Or art effect what he hath brought to pass | C |
It is not like he naked me hath seen | D |
Or stood so nigh for to observe so much | E |
No sweet his eyes so near have never been | F |
Nor could his hands by art have cunning such | E |
I showed my heart wherein you printed were | G |
You naked you as here you painted are | H |
In that my love your picture I must wear | I |
And show't to all unless you have more care | I |
Then take my heart and place it with your own | J |
So shall you naked never more be known | J |
