Wearies My Love? Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGHGI JJJJEKEK

Wearies my love of my lettersA
Does she my silence commandB
Sunders she Love's rosy fettersA
As though they were woven of sandB
Tires she too of each tokenC
Indited with many a sighD
Are all her promises brokenC
And must I love on till I dieD
-
Thinks my dear love that I blame herE
With what was a burden to partF
Ah no with affection I'll name herE
While lingers a pulse in my heartF
Although she has clouded with sadnessG
And blighted the bloom of my yearsH
I lover still even to madnessG
And bless her through showers of tearsI
-
My pen I have laid down in sorrowJ
The songs of my lute I foregoJ
From neither assistance I'll borrowJ
To utter my heart seated woJ
But peace to her bosom whereverE
Her thoughts or her footsteps may strayK
Memento of mine again neverE
Will shadow the light of her wayK
