The Star Of Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHAHEBIB

The star of love now shines aboveA
Cool zephyrs crisp the seaB
Among the leaves the wind harp weavesC
Its serenade for theeB
The star the breeze the wave the treesD
Their minstrelsy uniteE
But all are drear till thou appearF
To decorate the nightE
-
The light of noon streams from the moonG
Though with a milder rayH
O'er hill and grove like woman's loveA
It cheers us on our wayH
Thus all that's bright the moon the nightE
The heavens the earth the seaB
Exert their powers to bless the hoursI
We dedicate to theeB
