Poetry Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGDGB

To me the world's an open bookA
Of sweet and pleasant poetryB
I read it in the running brookA
That sings its way toward the seaB
It whispers in the leaves of treesC
The swelling grain the waving grassD
And in the cool fresh evening breezeC
That crisps the wavelets as they passD
-
The flowers below the stars aboveE
In all their bloom and brightness givenF
Are like the attributes of loveE
The poetry of earth and heavenF
Thus Nature's volume read arightG
Attunes the soul to minstrelsyD
Tinging life's clouds with rosy lightG
And all the world with poetryB
