My Bark Is Out Upon The Sea Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGHGH IJIKLMLM

My bark is out upon the seaA
The moon's aboveB
Her light a presence seems to meA
Like woman's loveB
My native land I've left behindC
Afar I roamD
In other climes no hearts I'll findC
Like those at homeD
-
Of all yon sisterhood of starsE
But one is trueF
She paves my path with silver barsE
And beams like youF
Whose purity the waves recallG
In music's flowH
As round my bark they rise and fallG
In liquid snowH
-
The fresh'ning breeze now swells our sailsI
A storm is onJ
The weary moon's dim lustre failsI
The stars are goneK
Not so fades Love's eternal lightL
When storm clouds weepM
I know one heart's with me to nightL
Upon the deepM
