I'm With You Once Again Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCE FGFGHIHI JKJKLMLM CNCNOPOP

I'm with you once again my friendsA
No more my footsteps roamB
Where it began my journey endsA
Amid the scenes of homeB
No other clime has skies so blueC
Or streams so broad and clearD
And where are hearts so warm and trueC
As those that meet me hereE
-
Since last with spirits wild and freeF
I pressed my native strandG
I've wandered many miles at seaF
And many miles on landG
I've seen fair realms of the earthH
By rude commotion tornI
Which taught me how to prize the worthH
Of that where I was bornI
-
In other countries when I heardJ
The language of my ownK
How fondly each familiar wordJ
Awoke an answering toneK
But when our woodland songs were sungL
Upon a foreign martM
The vows that faltered on the tongueL
With rapture thrilled the heartM
-
My native land I turn to youC
With blessing and with prayerN
Where man is brave and woman trueC
And free as mountain airN
Long may our flag in triumph waveO
Against the world combinedP
And friends a welcome foes a graveO
Within our borders findP
