The Sun-shower Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCCB DDEFGH IIJKKJ

A penciled shade the sky doth sweepA
And transient glooms creep in to sleepA
Amid the orchardB
Fantastic breezes pull the treesC
Hither and yon to vagariesC
Of aspect torturedB
-
Then like the downcast dreamy fringeD
Of eyelids when dim gates unhingeD
That locked their tearsE
Falls on the hills a mist of rainF
So faint it seems to fade againG
Yet swiftly nearsH
-
Now sparkles the air all steely brightI
With drops swept down in arrow flightI
Keen quivering linesJ
Ceased in a breath the showery soundK
And teasingly now as I look aroundK
Sweet sunlight shinesJ
