The Fisher Of The Cape Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCDAACC EEAAAAFFAA

At morn his bark like a birdA
Slips lightly oceanwardA
Sail feathering smooth o'er the bayB
And beak that drinks the wild sprayB
In his eyes beams cheerilyC
A light like the sun's on the seaD
As he watches the waning strandA
Where the foam like a waving handA
Of one who mutely would tellC
Her love flutters faintly FarewellC
-
But at night when the winds ariseE
And pipe to driving skiesE
And the moon peers half afraidA
Through the storm cloud's ragged shadeA
He hears her voice in the blastA
That sighs about the mastA
He sees her face in the cloudsF
As he climbs the whistling shroudsF
And a power nerves his handA
Shall bring the bark to landA
