South-wind Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBAC DCDEE

Soft throated South breathing of summer's easeA
Sweet breath whereof the violet's life is madeB
Through lips moist warm as thou hadst lately stayedB
'Mong rosebuds wooing to the cheeks of theseA
Loth blushes faint and maidenly rich BreezeA
Still doth thy honeyed blowing bring a shadeB
Of sad foreboding In thy hand is laidB
The power to build or blight rich fruit of treesA
The deep cool grass and field of thick combed grainC
-
Even so my Love may bring me joy or woeD
Both measureless but either counted gainC
Since given by her For pain and pleasure flowD
Like tides upon us of the self same seaE
Tears are the gems of joy and miseryE
