An April Aria Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACBDEFGGFDHIHIJJII KIIK

When the mornings dankly fallA
With a dim forethought of rainB
And the robins richly callA
To their mates mercurialC
And the tree boughs creak and strainB
In the windD
When the river's rough with foamE
And the new made clearings smokeF
And the clouds that go and comeG
Shine and darken frolicsomeG
And the frogs at evening croakF
UndefinedD
Mysteries of monotoneH
And by melting beds of snowI
Wind flowers blossom all aloneH
Then I knowI
That the bitter winter's deadJ
Over his headJ
The damp sod breaks so mellowI
Its mosses tipped with points of yellowI
I cannot but be gladK
Yet this sweet mood will borrowI
Something of a sweeter sorrowI
To touch and turn me sadK
