The Holy Scriptures Ii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCCEFFEGG

Oh that I knew how all thy lights combineA
And the configurations of their gloryB
Seeing not only how each verse doth shineA
But all the constellations of the storyB
This verse marks that and both do make a motionC
Unto a third that ten leaves off doth lieD
Then as dispersed herbs do watch a poitionC
These three make up some Christian's destinyC
Such are thy secrets which my life makes goodE
And comments on thee for in ev'ry thingF
Thy words do find me out and parallels bringF
And in another make me understoodE
Stars are poor books and oftentimes do missG
This book of stars lights to eternal blissG
