Love (ii) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCEFGGFHH

Immortal Heat O let Thy greater flameA
Attract the lesser to it let those firesB
Which shall consume the world first make it tameA
And kindle in our hearts such true desiresB
As may consume our lusts and make Thee wayC
Then shall our hearts pant Thee then shall our brainD
All her invention on Thine altar layC
And there in hymns send back Thy fire againE
Our eyes shall see Thee which before saw dustF
Dust blown by wit till that they both were blindG
Thou shalt recover all Thy goods in kindG
Who wert disseized by usurping lustF
All knees shall bow to Thee all wits shall riseH
And praise Him Who did make and mend our eyesH
