Jordan (i) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABA CDEEE FGFGF

Who says that fictions only and false hairA
Become a verse Is there no truth in beautyB
Is all good structure in a winding stairA
May no lines pass except they do their dutyB
Not to a true but painted chairA
-
Is it no verse except enchanted grovesC
And sudden arbors shadow coarse spun linesD
Must purling streams refresh a lover's lovesE
Must all be veiled while he that reads divinesE
Catching the sense at two removesE
-
Shepherds are honest people let them singF
Riddle who list for me and pull for PrimeG
I envy no man's nightingale or springF
Nor let them punish me with loss of rimeG
Who plainly say My God My KingF
