Easter Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB ACAC

I got me flowers to straw Thy wayA
I got me boughs off many a treeB
But Thou wast up by break of dayA
And brought'st Thy sweets along with TheeB
-
Yet though my flowers be lost they sayA
A heart can never come too lateC
Teach it to sing Thy praise this dayA
And then this day my life shall dateC
