Riches Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDED FGFG HIHI

Friend you have wealth and powerA
Men go and come at your callB
Yours are the whims of the hourA
What have you done with it allB
I am only a poetC
Fighting a bitter fightD
Fate will not even grant meE
Leisure in which to writeD
-
You said as your thin lips curledF
Money is better than baysG
Battered and bruised by the worldF
I still have my golden daysG
-
You have lost the power to enjoyH
You tire of each plaything newI
Mine is the heart of a boyH
Friend I am richer than youI
