Yes I'm here I suppose you're delightedA
You'd heard I was not coming downB
Why I've been here a week 'rather early'C
I know but it's horrid in townB
-
A Boston Most certainly thank youD
This music is perfectly sweetE
Of course I like dancing in summerF
It's warm but I don't mind the heatE
-
The clumsy thing Oh how he hurt meG
I really can't dance any moreH
Let's walk see they're forming a LancersI
These square dances are such a boreH
-
My cloak oh I really don't need itJ
Well carry it so in the foldsK
I hate it but Ma made me bring itJ
She's frightened to death about coldsK
-
This is rather cooler than dancingL
They're lovely piazzas up hereM
Those lanterns look sweet in the bushesN
It's lucky the night is so clearO
-
I am rather tired in this cornerF
Very well if you like I don't careP
But you'll have to sit on the railingL
You see there is only one chairP
-
'So long since you've seen me' oh agesN
Let's see why it's ten days agoQ
'Seems years' oh of course don't look spooneyB
It isn't becoming you knowB
-
How bright the stars seem to night don't theyR
What was it you said about eyesS
How sweet why you must be a poetT
One never can tell till he triesS
-
Why can't you be sensible HarryG
I don't like men's arms on my chairP
Be still if you don't stop this nonsenseU
I'll get up and leave you so thereP
-
Oh please don't I don't want to hear itJ
A boy like you talking of loveV
'My answer ' Well sir you shall have itJ
Just wait till I get off my gloveV
-
See that Well you needn't look tragicW
It's only a solitaire ringL
Of course I am 'proud of it' veryG
It's rather an elegant thingL
-
Engaged yes why didn't you know itJ
I thought the news must have reached hereM
Why the wedding will be in OctoberF
The 'happy man' Charley LeclearF
-
Now don't blame me I tried to stop youD
But you would go on like a gooseX
I'm sorry it happened forget itJ
Don't think of it don't what's the useX
-
There's somebody coming don't look soB
Get up on the railing againB
Can't you seem as if nothing had happenedY
I never saw such geese as menB
-
Ah Charley you've found me A galopZ
The 'Bahn frei ' Yes take my bouquetR
And my fan if you will now I'm readyG
You'll excuse me of course Mr GrayR
