Charlotte, Emily And Anne. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEGHIJKLFLMNMN

There's a darkness in the hallwayA
A cold cold silence hangs aboutB
Now that the final candleC
Has flickered and died outB
The wind without the four wallsD
Turns its whisper to a weepE
But neither wind nor rain can enterF
Where all but Anne now sleepE
Out across the moorlandsG
The winter's packed and goneH
And springtime reigns majesticI
With the first new lambs now bornJ
But the sisters they see nothingK
There's a darkness in their eyesL
Imprisoned thus foreverF
No door nor window to the skiesL
Time has passed and provenM
Each one equal to any manN
Thus we treasure the web once wovenM

Poet's note: I wrote this poem in 1997 and it is one of my Bronte inspired poems. the feeling I tried to get from the poem is the sadness of events concerning the Bronte Sisters...
