Rime 08 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHBGBIAJ| If I who am an abject low born woman | A |
| Can bear within me such lofty fire | B |
| Why should I not possess at least a little | C |
| Poetic power to tell it to the world | D |
| If Love with such a new unheard of flint | E |
| Lifted me up where I could never climb | F |
| Why cannot I in an unusual way | G |
| Make pain and pen be equal in myself | H |
| If Love cannot do this by force of nature | B |
| Perhaps as by a miracle he may | G |
| Passing and bursting every common measure | B |
| How that can be I cannot well explain | I |
| But yet I feel because of my great fortune | A |
| My heart imprinted with a strong new style | J |
