By Now So Sick Of Waiting Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDDC EEF GFG

By now so sick of waiting I'm by nowA
so beaten by the pain by now the burnB
won't stop and he forgets so quickly howA
I trust in his return and how I yearnB
-
that I cry out for her to give me restC
she of the pallid face and reaper's knifeD
whose chilly touch defines the edge of lifeD
so hard the need that grows within my breastC
-
But she is deaf and gives me no reliefE
as if she spurned my being mad with griefE
and deafly he denies himself to meF
-
My eyes are always wet and weeping fillsG
this villa and its shore with miseryF
while he lives smugly up there in his hillsG
