He wants to be a prisoner
When he freely walks into the spider web
Captive, confined like a caught thief.
Stealing its prey in a dam and dungeon
The torture of the spider makes me sob.
The only thing I want is freedom to fly like birds
The only thing I want is to break loose like injured tire,
To say no quarantine, no handcuff, no bondage, no slavery.
He wants to be a prisoner
When he walks freely around the spider house
Traumatized, groaning, crying, in distress
Asking a savior to cut the webs,
Or kill the spider with a bamboo on its head.
To free this man,
Let him walk off with his hands unbound
Let him shout like freed prisoners
I don't want to go back in the dark
In terror, shame, rage,
I am going home
Thanking him every day
The chains are falling
off my feet.
