Temptations Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCD EFGHIJ KLMLIL

I have walked this road beforeA
It was lonely and roughB
All through the journey was toughB
But the pain was worth itC
Through that dark tunnel we reached our goalD
-
We were among the sojournersE
Who arrived with hardened soulsF
Troubled by our past sufferingsG
we built a home in this desolate placeH
Our labour was fruitfulI
and brought forth abundanceJ
-
When we were hungryK
nobody fed usL
When we lost our homesM
nobody comforted usL
Now we see no evilI
but sunshine and brightnessL
