Love's Dilemma Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKFLMNOIPGI QI

She left you in a gloomy moodA
With a pain in your heartB
The excitement is long goneC
and only lonely days are left for you to bearD
That's love for you the burden of the soulE
You are now lost in the sea of confusionF
Waiting for another adventureG
to lighten your painH
What lesson have we learned about loveI
A million lessons but making the same mistakeJ
of loving againK
When shall we be free from this illusionF
that last for only a short timeL
Love is really overratedM
You put in much and get little in returnN
Making sacrifices that brings little profitO
Can we really get enough of loveI
I have searched my heart a million timesP
for the answerG
We are all searching for loveI
Even searching in places where it cannot be foundQ
Still in pain but still searching for loveI

Gabriel Dallong
