Children Of The World Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQ

Sorrow filled our tender heartsA
Because of the pain caused by the ravaging warsB
A great disaster we cannot bearC
Tears of sorrow streaming down our tender cheeksD
Innocent minds caught up in the waves of violenceE
I feel your pain from the depths of my heartF
What evil has befallen our worldG
Why destroy our futureH
Why bury our dreams under the ashes of warI
Children taking shelter in the streetsJ
And parents having nothing to doK
Don't let hunger and starvation end our beautiful dreamsL
Lead us to a place of joyM
Where childhood melodies can be heardN
Our ears are tired of deafening gunshotsO
Enough is enoughP
We need peace to realize our potentialsQ
