King's Cross Station Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEBF GHI

This circled cosmos whereof man is godA
Has suns and stars of green and gold and redB
And cloudlands of great smoke that range o'er rangeC
Far floating hide its iron heavens o'erheadB
-
God shall we ever honour what we areD
And see one moment ere the age expireE
The vision of man shouting and erectB
Whirled by the shrieking steeds of flood and fireF
-
Or must Fate act the same grey farce againG
And wait till one amid Time's wrecks and scarsH
Speaks to a ruin here 'What poet raceI
Shot such cyclopean arches at the stars '-
