When I Sailed In A Sea Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BBCB DBDB BEBE FGHG IJIK BLCB

A
-
When I sailed in a sea of tempestsB
And when my ship sunk into seaB
I wildly cried My friend the best oneC
My dear Devil pray help meB
-
Don't let my evil restless soulD
Have perished before ordered datesB
I will attend to sins the wholeD
Black train of all my future daysB
-
And Devil took and threw me coarseB
Into the boat old and frailE
I found there the pair of oarsB
The little bench and grayish sailE
-
And I again brought on the groundF
Into the large and evil lifeG
My soul everywhere pushed outH
My body sunk in sinful strifeG
-
And I am faithful Devil fatherI
To the pledge in evil time I gaveJ
When I was in the sea disasterI
And such miraculously savedK
-
I'll make your fame midst earthly nationsB
To a shame of every day unjustL
I'll sing praise to the worlds damnationC
And while enticing I'll enticeB
