His Wines, Feasts And Funs Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEDF GHGI JKLM

His wines feasts and funs are forgottenA
His sword and his armour are leftB
He single descends into rottenA
A dungeon without a lampC
-
With a shrill and continued soundD
The door all forgot it is rolledE
Just dampness and darkness aroundD
And the window's set high and smallF
-
His eyes grow used to the darknessG
And through humid gloom under vaultsH
Strange marks dawn on stony vastnessG
Of selling wet floor and wet wallsI
-
He looks for a long time at networksJ
Of the marks such unknown and waitsK
When his eyes like eyes of all sinnersL
Will be well enlightened by deathM
