Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCDDEEFFGH IGH

MATTHEWA
Gossip you'll like to hear no doubtB
A learned work has just come outB
Messias is the name 'twill bearC
The man has travelled through the airC
And on the sun beplastered roadsD
Has lost shoe leather by whole loadsD
Has seen the heavens lie open wideE
And hell has traversed with whole hideE
The thought has just occurred to meF
That one so skilled as he must beF
May tell us how our flax and wheat ariseG
What say you Shall I try to ascertainH
-
LUKEI
You fool to think that any one so wiseG
About mere flax and corn would rack his brainH
