Rapture -- To Laura Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCCB DDEFFG HHIJJI KLBIMB

From earth I seem to wing my flightA
And sun myself in Heaven's pure lightA
When thy sweet gaze meets mineB
I dream I quaff ethereal dewC
When my own form I mirrored viewC
In those blue eyes divineB
-
Blest notes from Paradise afarD
Or strains from some benignant starD
Enchant my ravished earE
My Muse feels then the shepherd's hourF
When silvery tones of magic powerF
Escape those lips so dearG
-
Young Loves around thee fan their wingsH
Behind the maddened fir tree springsH
As when by Orpheus firedI
The poles whirl round with swifter motionJ
When in the dance like waves o'er OceanJ
Thy footsteps float untiredI
-
Thy look if it but beam with loveK
Could make the lifeless marble moveL
And hearts in rocks enshrineB
My visions to realityI
Will turn if Laura in thine eyeM
I read that thou art mineB
