Group From Tartarus Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDEFEF GGHH

Hark like the sea in wrath the heavens assailingA
Or like a brook through rocky basin wailingA
Comes from below in groaning agonyB
A heavy vacant torment breathing sighC
Their faces marks of bitter torture wearD
While from their lips burst curses of despairD
Their eyes are hollow and full of woeE
And their looks with heartfelt anguishF
Seek Cocytus' stream that runs wailing belowE
For the bridge o'er its waters they languishF
-
And they say to each other in accents of fearG
Oh when will the time of fulfilment appearG
High over them boundless eternity quiversH
And the scythe of Saturnus all ruthlessly shiversH
