Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMN

Poems are holy things Eternal TruthA
Borrowing the robes of song and lovely grownB
In them her glory unto man proclaimsC
And fills his longing soul They softly speakD
Of Nature's beauty and the secrets oldE
Concealed behind the shadows of the hillsF
And love on angel fingers borne to menG
Naming them over in so sweet a voiceH
That music leads their footsteps in the waysI
Where God has walked and with a lofty HarpJ
As wondrous as the gentle harps of heavenK
Uplifts ennobles soothes and leads the raceL
Unto its last great ultimate of powerM
To words of tenderness and goodly deedsN
