In The Vales Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDEFG HIJIII KLKLMM

When from these vales I goA
That slumber on in dreamsB
O will the summer winds dance to and froA
And kiss the streamsB
That play where roses scatter fond perfumeC
And lilies burst with bloomC
-
Glad children of the springD
They moan their music sweetE
Where tangled grasses wave and softly singD
Where meadows meetE
And wildwood shadows drooping blessF
The groves with happinessG
-
Their soothing songs I hearH
Among the granite hillsI
Above the elfin warbles rich and clearJ
From rippling rillsI
As if they called my soul in future daysI
To wander all their waysI
-
Ah moaning winds you seemK
To fill my musing breastL
With lullabies that linger as I dreamK
And bring me restL
For melodies from your low voices creepM
That soothe my heart with sleepM
