Waiting To Grow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCBB DDBB EEBB

Little white snowdrop just waking upA
Violet daisy and sweet buttercupA
Think of the flowers that are under the snowB
Waiting to growB
-
And think what a number of queer little seedsC
Of flowers and mosses of ferns and of weedsC
Are under the leaves and under the snowB
Waiting to growB
-
Think of the roots getting ready to sproutD
Reaching their slender brown fingers aboutD
Under the ice and the leaves and the snowB
Waiting to growB
-
No seed is so small or hidden so wellE
That God cannot find it and soon he will tellE
His sun where to shine and His rain where to goB
Making it growB
