In The Street. Lord - - Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABACACDEDEFF

You have done well we say it You are deadA
And of the man that with the right hand takesB
Less than the left hand gives let it be saidA
He has done something for our wretched sakesB
For those to whom you gave their daily breadA
Rancid with God loathed charity their drinkC
Putrid with man loathed sin we bow our headA
Grateful as the great hearse goes by and thinkC
Yes you have fed the flesh and starved the soulD
Of thousands of us you have taught too wellE
The rich are little gods beyond controlD
Save of your big God of the heaven and hellE
We thank you This was pretty once and rightF
Now it wears rather thin My lord good nightF
