England. In The Camp Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB ADCD EFFF GHGH FFFF AFCF

This is a leader's tent Who gathers hereA
Enter and see and listen On the groundB
Men sit or stand enter or disappearC
Dark faces and deep voices all aroundB
-
One answers you You ask who gathers hereA
Companions Generals we have none nor chiefD
What need is there The plan is all so clearC
The future's hope the present's grim reliefD
-
Food for us all and clothes and roofs come firstE
The means to gain them This our leaguered bandF
The hatred of the robber rich accursedF
Keeps foes together makes fools understandF
-
Beyond the present's faith the future's hopeG
Points to the dawning hour when all shall beH
But one The man condemned shall fit the ropeG
Around the hangman's neck and both be freeH
-
The sun then rises on a happier landF
Where Wealth and Labour sound but as one wordF
We drill we train we arm our leaguered bandF
What is there more to tell you have not heardF
-
This is a leader's tent They gather hereA
Resolute stern menacing On the groundF
They sit or stand enter or disappearC
Dark faces and deep voices all aroundF
