Analogy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCAABDACEEACFGAAFC

ToA
-
HAD you lived when a tyrant KingB
Strove to make all the slaves of oneC
With Nobles and with Churchmen youA
Had stood unflinching pure and trueA
To annihilate that hateful thingB
Green Runnymede beat out of JohnD
Had you lived when a wanton crewA
Flash scoundrels of a day outdoneC
Trod down the toilers birth deridesE
With Cromwell and his IronsidesE
The brave days had discovered youA
Where Naseby saw the Gallants runC
And yet you this same knight in listF
For Freedom in her narrow dawnG
Against that One against those FewA
Vile King vile Nobles you yet youA
Stand by the bloody CapitalistF
Fight with the pander GentlemanC
