To A Sparrow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD DEDF GHGH HIHI

Because you have no fear to mingleA
Wings with those of greater partB
So like me with song I singleA
Your sweet impudence of heartB
-
And when prouder feathers go whereC
Summer holds her leafy showD
You still come to us from nowhereC
Like grey leaves across the snowD
-
In back ways where odd and end goD
To your meals you drop down sureE
Knowing every broken windowD
Of the hospitable poorF
-
There is no bird half so harmlessG
None so sweetly rude as youH
None so common and so charmlessG
None of virtues nude as youH
-
But for all your faults I love youH
For you linger with us stillI
Though the wintry winds reprove youH
And the snow is on the hillI
