The Lost Ones Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCBC DEDEDE

Somewhere is music from the linnets' billsA
And thro' the sunny flowers the bee wings droneB
And white bells of convolvulus on hillsA
Of quiet May make silent ringing blownB
Hither and thither by the wind of showersC
And somewhere all the wandering birds have flownB
And the brown breath of Autumn chills the flowersC
-
But where are all the loves of long agoD
O little twilight ship blown up the tideE
Where are the faces laughing in the glowD
Of morning years the lost ones scattered wideE
Give me your hand O brother let us goD
Crying about the dark for those who diedE
