Pien di quella ineffabile dolcezzaA
-
WHEREVER HE IS HE SEES ONLY LAURAB
-
-
O'erflowing with the sweets ineffableC
Which from that lovely face my fond eyes drewD
What time they seal'd for very rapture grewD
On meaner beauty never more to dwellE
Whom most I love I left my mind so wellE
Its part to muse on her is train'd to doD
None else it sees what is not hers to viewD
As of old wont with loathing I repelE
In a low valley shut from all aroundF
Sole consolation of my heart deep sighsA
Pensive and slow with Love I walk aloneG
Not ladies here but rocks and founts are foundF
And of that day blest images ariseA
Which my thought shapes where'er I turn mine eyesA
