Rhyme Scheme: A B CDDEFGGFHIHIJK L

Se bianche non son prima ambe le tempieA
-
THOUGH NOT SECURE AGAINST THE WILES OF LOVE HE FEELS STRENGTH ENOUGH TO RESIST THEMB
-
-
Till silver'd o'er by age my temples growC
Where Time by slow degrees now plants his greyD
Safe shall I never be in danger's wayD
While Love still points and plies his fatal bowE
I fear no more his tortures and his tricksF
That he will keep me further to ensnareG
Nor ope my heart that from without he thereG
His poisonous and ruthless shafts may fixF
No tears can now find issue from mine eyesH
But the way there so well they know to winI
That nothing now the pass to them deniesH
Though the fierce ray rekindle me withinI
It burns not all her cruel and severeJ
Form may disturb not break my slumbers hereK
