Sonnet Clviii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Siccome eterna vita veder DioA
-
ALL HIS HAPPINESS IS IN GAZING UPON HERB
-
-
As life eternal is with God to beC
No void left craving there of all possess'dA
So lady mine to be with you makes blestA
This brief frail span of mortal life to meC
So fair as now ne'er yet was mine to seeC
If truth from eyes to heart be well express'dA
Lovely and bless d spirit of my breastA
Which levels all high hopes and wishes freeC
Nor would I more demand if less of hasteA
She show'd to part for if as legends tellD
And credence find are some who live by smellD
On water some or fire who touch and tasteA
All things which neither strength nor sweetness giveE
Why should not I upon your dear sight liveF
