Sonnet Ccxiii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A B CDDCCDDCEFGEFG H

O misera ed orribil visioneA
-
HE CANNOT BELIEVE IN HER DEATH BUT IF TRUE HE PRAYS GOD TO TAKE HIM ALSO FROM LIFEB
-
-
O misery horror can it then be trueC
That the sweet light before its time is spentD
'Mid all its pains which could my life contentD
And ever with fresh hopes of good renewC
If so why sounds not other channels throughC
Nor only from herself the great eventD
No God and Nature could not thus consentD
And my dark fears are groundless and undueC
Still it delights my heart to hope once moreE
The welcome sight of that enchanting faceF
The glory of our age and life to meG
But if to her eternal home to soarE
That heavenly spirit have left her earthly placeF
Oh then not distant may my last day beG
