Sonnet C Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A B CAACDEFDGGAAAA H

Poi che 'l cammin m' chiuso di mercedeA
-
THOUGH FAR FROM LAURA SOLITARY AND UNHAPPY ENVY STILL PURSUES HIMB
-
-
Since mercy's door is closed alas to meC
And hopeless paths my poor life separateA
From her in whom I know not by what fateA
The guerdon lay of all my constancyC
My heart that lacks not other food on sighsD
I feed to sorrow born I live on tearsE
Nor therefore mourn I sweeter far appearsF
My present grief than others can surmiseD
On thy dear portrait rests alone my viewG
Which nor Praxiteles nor Xeuxis drewG
But a more bold and cunning pencil framedA
What shore can hide me or what distance shieldA
If by my cruel exile yet untamedA
Insatiate Envy finds me here concealedA
