A Wreath Of Sonnets (5/14) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA AAAA CDC DCE

They come from where no man can sunshine findA
Not from those regions by your glance caressedB
Where all the cares of this world are at restB
And sweet oblivion follows close behindA
-
Where joy reigns with a fullness scarce divinedA
And vanished are the conflicts that distressedA
Where song springs from an overflowing breastA
With sweetest harmonies of every kindA
-
Where nursed by pure love grow the fairest flowersC
Luxuriant in beauty and in graceD
As though kissed by the breath of vernal hoursC
-
My songs that praise you come from no such placeD
They grew untouched by any friendly powersC
Unblest by soothing winds of warmer daysE
