Rhyme Scheme: A BCBC DEDE FEFE GHGG IEIE EJEK LMLM

Praise ye the Lord Praise ye the Lord from the heavens praise him in the heightsA
-
PRAISE ye the Lord on every heightB
Songs to his glory raiseC
Ye angel hosts ye stars of lightB
Join in immortal praiseC
-
Oh heavens of heavens let praise far swellingD
From all your orbs be sentE
Join in the strain ye waters dwellingD
Above the firmamentE
-
For His the word which gave you birthF
And majesty and mightE
Praise to the Highest from the earthF
And let the deeps uniteE
-
Oh fire and vapor hail and snowG
Ye servants of His willH
Oh stormy winds that only blowG
His mandates to fulfilG
-
Mountains and rocks to heaven that riseI
Fair cedars of the woodE
Creatures of life that wing the skiesI
Or track the plains for foodE
-
Judges of nations kings whose handE
Waves the proud sceptre highJ
Oh youths and virgins of the landE
Oh age and infancyK
-
Praise ye His name to whom aloneL
All homage should be givenM
Whose glory from th' eternal throneL
Spreads wide o'er earth and heavenM
