Flight Of The Spirit Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCADDEFFE

Whither oh whither wilt thou wing thy wayA
What solemn region first upon thy sightB
Shall break unveiled for terror or delightB
What hosts magnificent in dread arrayA
My spirit when thy prison house of clayA
After long strife is rent Fond fruitless questC
The unfledged bird within his narrow nestC
Sees but a few green branches oer him playA
And through their parting leaves by fits revealedD
A glimpse of summer sky nor knows the fieldD
Wherein his dormant powers must yet be triedE
Thou art that bird of what beyond thee liesF
Far in the untracked immeasurable skiesF
Knowing but this that thou shalt find thy guideE
