Rhyme Scheme: ABAA CC DEFG CC HHIJKK CCCC

Walking on the gold beneath our feetA
in this damn land we grew up doomedB
orange halogens in two sides of the streetA
leading us toward unknown paths of defeatA
-
Toward hope and the tunnel of deathC
Toward light and all colors of breathC
-
For life is short but we are yet to liveD
and the stars we watch belowE
when man is unable to perceiveF
us mere and our glare and our glareG
-
Toward hope and the tunnel of deathC
Toward light and all colors of breathC
-
We flew over in the starry skyH
we asked man and angel whyH
we run as mad and full of lustI
for life and the life is short yetJ
we don t trust anymore anymoreK
anymoreK
-
Toward hope and the tunnel of deathC
Toward light and all colors of breathC
Toward light and all colors of breathC
Toward light and all colors of breathC
